Solymac International, which is headquartered in the village of Charvieu-Chavagneux (near Lyons, in south-eastern France), designs and manufactures the Delaubrac range of ovens. After years of manufacturing some of the highest quality components for cooking equipment in France—the company built cooktops, warming oven components, and more for La Cornue and others for decades—Solymac launched the Delaubrac residential line in 1977.
Solymac continues to manufacture professional stoves for top restaurants in Europe, and this ongoing relationship with world-class chefs continues to inform the development and design of the Delaubrac line. Over the years, Delaubrac ranges have introduced many unique features. Delaubrac's chassis system is by far the most sturdy of the French ranges on the market. Solid brass junctions, one of the largest oven interiors for their external size, and standard electric ignition are all built into the professional home Delaubrac line, allowing the occassional home gourmet access to all the extravagance that four-star chefs are accustomed to in their kitchens.
